About Angie Ritz and Moxie Wellness

Welcome to
Moxie Wellness!

Here, we’re all about opening up, putting all our junk on the table, and being brave enough to work through it.

Don’t worry, I realize that’s a lot to ask of someone who’s never met me. After all, you’re not supposed to talk about religion, politics, sex, or money on a first date, right?

So before I ask you to spill the piping hot tea I know you have over there, here’s mine…

Boring but necessary educational history

What you can expect from working with me

Hopefully a little context and personal history clarifies why I got into this line of work. Life can be REALLY hard, but people are also incredibly resilient. In my darkest moments, I leaned on mental health professionals, and reliable friends and family to get me through.

If I can give an ounce of hope or guidance when you’re going through a tough time, I consider that a win. I’m a firm believer that we are wired for connection with a deep longing to be seen in our most authentic self. It is truly an honor of mine to walk alongside fellow humans who have the moxie to dig into their stories and connect more deeply to their authentic selves.

If you’re looking for a therapist who…

  • Is compassionate but not a push-over

  • Will say things even if they’re hard to hear

  • Won’t give up on you

  • Has baggage of her own that she’s learned from

  • Makes really funny jokes to lighten the mood

  • Above all else, wants you to succeed
