Quick note:

My interest in the Attached at the Heart curriculum started 10 years ago when I became a parent for the first time. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I had this information at my fingertips from birth through toddlerhood while raising my daughters. Now, I’m honored to be able to bring this information to more parents!

What You'll Learn:

Week 1 ✿ April 8
Charting a New Parenting Course

Welcome to the start of your parenting journey! In our first week together, we’ll explore the deep emotional needs of infants and young children—why they matter just as much as physical needs and how we can meet them with love and intention. Even if our own childhoods didn’t provide the best blueprint, we can learn to parent in a way that fosters security, connection, and trust.

Week 2 ✿ April 15
Prepare for Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting

Whether you’re expecting your first baby or planning for another, this week is all about laying a strong foundation. We’ll talk about the key things to consider during pregnancy, birth, and those tender first weeks postpartum—helping you feel more confident and prepared for the transition into parenthood.

Week 3 ✿ April 22
Feed with Love and Respect

Mealtimes are about so much more than just nutrition—they’re an opportunity to nurture deep connections with your child. This week, we’ll explore how feeding (whether breast, bottle, or solid foods) can be a powerful way to show love and build healthy lifelong eating habits.

Week 4 ✿ April 29
Respond with Sensitivity

At the heart of Attachment Parenting is the ability to tune in and respond to our children’s needs with empathy and understanding. This week, we’ll explore how to be emotionally present for our little ones—even when it’s hard—and how to break cycles of unresponsive parenting from our own past.

Week 5 ✿ May 6
Use Nurturing Touch

Touch is one of the most powerful ways to build attachment and provide comfort. This week, we’ll look at how skin-to-skin contact, babywearing, massage, and simple affectionate gestures can strengthen your bond with your child, all while fitting into your daily life.

Week 6 ✿ May 13
Ensure Safe Sleep – Physically and Emotionally

Sleep is one of the biggest challenges of early parenthood! This week, we’ll dive into the science of infant sleep, explore ways to meet your baby’s nighttime needs safely, and find realistic solutions that support both your child’s well-being and your own rest.

Week 7 ✿ May 20
Provide Consistent and Loving Care

Every child thrives on loving, dependable care. This week, we’ll discuss how to create a sense of security for your little one, even when balancing work, responsibilities, and life’s ever-changing demands.

Week 8 ✿ May 27
Practice Positive Discipline

Discipline isn’t about punishment—it’s about teaching and guiding with love. This week, we’ll explore Positive Discipline techniques developed with expert Jane Nelson, helping you equip your child with emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-discipline. Whether you’re parenting a toddler or a teen, these tools will help foster a respectful, cooperative relationship.

Week 9 ✿ June 3
Strive for Balance in Your Personal and Family Life

Parenting is a beautiful journey, but it can also feel overwhelming. This week, we’ll focus on finding balance—simplifying daily life, meeting the needs of each family member, and ensuring that you are cared for too. Because a well-supported parent is a more present and joyful one.

Week 10 ✿ June 10
Nurturing Children for a Peaceful World

As we wrap up our time together, we’ll zoom out and reflect on the bigger picture of parenting. How can we raise children who are compassionate, resilient, and ready to make the world a better place? Let’s talk about what it means to nurture not just our own families, but a kinder and more connected world.
